Vorlage
Ich lese immer wieder gerne Kurzgeschichten im Internet. Eine, die mir besonders gefiel war "Death by Scrabble" von Charlie Fish. http://www.fictionontheweb.co.uk Ich fand die Geschichte beim ersten Lesen auf eine verführerische Weise bitterböse. Mir gefiel die Alltäglichkeit in der Anlage (ein Paar, dass sich auseinandergelebt hat) und die Stimmung (ein Trägheit und Muffigkeit aus der es kein Entrinnen gibt). Dem gegenüber steht die abgrundtiefe Bösartigkeit der Hauptfigur und das absurde Element der sich verselbstständigenden Worte. Diese Kombination funktioniert in der Kurzgeschichte perfekt. Ich hatte von Anfang an Lust diese Geschichte visuell umzusetzen.
